Founded in 1998, Brunetta Etc! Communications is dedicated to bringing clients maximum exposure on a local or national level.
Sylvie Brunetta served as Director of Publicity and Marketing as well as spokesperson for Donald K. Donald Productions for fourteen years. She was also a Promotion Representative for several multinational record labels including Sony Music and Warner Music Canada for over seven years.
During her tenure with the largest concert promoter in Montreal, Brunetta worked on the major concert events of the day - The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Madonna, Paul Mc Cartney, Genesis, and the Amnesty International Human Rights Now Tour. She was also involved in Broadway touring productions such as Cats, Tango Argentino and Evita, family-oriented entertainment such as David Copperfield, Ice Capades, Harlem Globetrotters, and The Moscow Circus and sporting events such as World Wrestling Federation, Monster Trucks and the McEnroe/Agassi Tennis Challenge.
In addition to her marketing and publicity activities, she was responsible for media accreditation on major events such as The Rolling Stones 1989, 1994 & 1998 tours, Madonna 1993, Pink Floyd 1987 and 1994, Amnesty International 1988 ‘Human Rights Now’, Paul McCartney 1989 Montreal press conference and concert, U2 1987, 1993, 1997 concerts and David Bowie’s 1987 ‘Glass Spider’ concert.
Brunetta was also responsible for all marketing activities on Celine Dion’s U.S. and Canadian Tours.
In recent years, Brunetta has spearheaded national press & publicity for The Just For Laughs Canadian Tour (1999-2006), The Guess Who Canadian and U.S. Tours (2001-2003) and been tour marketing consultant for the Cirque du Soleil’s Delirium (2006-2007) and Saltimbanco (2007-2008) tour travelling Canada and the United States. She also acted as National Tour Publicist for the Canadian dates of Saltimbanco (2007-2008) and Alegria (2009-2010) as well as Publicist-in-Chief for the Ottawa run of Cirque du Soleil ‘Corteo’ in September 2008.
She acted the Publicist and Marketing Director for ‘Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition’ presented in Montreal (2008-2009), Leonardo da Vinci…The Exhibition (2009) and Bodies…The Exhibition in Montreal (2009-2010) and Chicoutmi and Niagara Falls (2010).
She is also responsible for all PR activities for evenko’s Atlantic Canada concerts including Elton John, Neil Young, Diana Krall and Avril Lavigne.
She is currently Tour Marketing Director for Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil for North-America (2011-2012).
